Loved the experience, food, service and ambiance were great! I had the honey bee cortado and was so good! Food was very good. Will definitely come back!
It is a good breakfast spot that is really close to the woodlands without all the traffic. Plenty of parking. Staff is very friendly. Coffee was delicious. The benny was great. The portions are large and very filling. Will be returning.
Locally owned with house-made biscuits that along with sausage gravy is puts this on my permanent rotation. Other breakfast items on point. I like that is not too greasy and they use real butter. Grits are creamy, not watery like most breakfast places in Texas. Service is friendly and enthusiastic. Need a little work on their weekend check in process ;) Nice family oriented place with inside and outside dining.
The place was surprisingly empty for 9:30 on a Sunday morning. The staff was super friendly, and the food was tasty. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best in the area, and the green onion on them is a nice touch. The only slightly off putting part of my experience was the employees who seemed somewhat overwhelmed and/or inexperienced.
First of all, I love the name of this restaurant and the inside is just as charming. We stopped in on a Tuesday morning around 9:30 a.m. Not busy at all. There only appeared to be 1 person working in the front and maybe 1 other in the kitchen. We were able to choose where we wanted to sit. The table was a little sticky but not so bad that it needed to be mentioned. Hubby had Chicken Fried Steak N Eggs (over medium), and I had the Breakfast Sammy with Ham and Hashbrowns. I also ordered a Caramel Latte, which I would not recommend unless you like the taste of artificial caramel and super sweet flavored coffee. The food was ok. Our server, Valerie, was sweet, but it was a little awkward how she would take an order, put it in, and then sit at a table next to the register on her phone. She never introduced herself, but I noted her name on the check. The total cost for breakfast was around $41, so you're looking at $15-17 per person plus the cost of drinks. It's definitely worth trying if you're in that area.
